Terms of Service

Effective date: September 30, 2025

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlatterQR's services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Restaurants create accounts and are responsible for administration of their menus and content.

3. Accounts & Access

  • Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for illegal or clearly objectionable activities (for example: promoting or selling illegal goods, gambling, weapons, hate content or otherwise against basic community standards).

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content you grant PlatterQR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display the content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

5. Payments & Fees

The Service is currently free. If fees are introduced, you will be notified and billed according to the plan you select. Future payments will be one-time purchases; all payments are non-refundable except for duplicate or erroneous charges or where otherwise required by law. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and governed by Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to engage in illegal activities or to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, pornographic, violent, hateful, or otherwise offensive. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abuse, fraudulent activity, or for legal or security reasons. Upon termination, access to the Service and associated content may be disabled or deleted.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLATTERQR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
